Applied Biotech Industries Bacillus mucilaginosus is a bacteria used to solubilize phosphorus (P), potassium (K) and make silica (Si) more available in soil. The bacterial strain solubilizes and releases phosphorus and dissolves potassium-rich minerals in soil. It releases silica into plant-available form by breaking down substances such as mica. Bacillus mucilaginosus also increases micronutrient availability, including Ca, Su, Mg, Fe and Zn. Through these mechanisms, Bacillus mucilaginosus promotes root growth, increases fertilizer utilization and promotes larger crop yields.
Bacillus mucilaginosus produces a wide range of enzymes and produces polysaccharides that improve soil structure. Additionally it produces plant phytohormones, including IAA and GA3, and enhances resistance to cold and drought. This strain is also known by the name Paenibacillus mucilaginosus. Use this bacteria to solubilize phosphorus and other nutrients and supercharge your soil and root uptake.
